The results of today's voting, 125 against Catalonia and 43 for Catalonia, mean that another door has been closed for the Catalan's aspirations.

As a portuguese, I can't agree with the recognition of Catalonia as an "full-time" menber of FIRS...
But as an rink-Hockey supporter, I would like to tell all the ctalans that you can develop the sport even without an national team! Go ahead, you can all help rink-Hockey, only with your powerful clubs, players and coaches!
Altough I dont agree with the Catalonian selection, I must say that I also didn't agree with the result of this votation, because the FIRS menbers did an political vote, not thinking in the growth of the sport...

Soy italiano y no estoy de acuerdo con la votacion de Roma. Creo que que Catalonia tiene todo el derecho a tener selecciones nacionales propias, no solo en roller hockey. Ya se que muchos espanoles no estan de acuerdo, porque a nadie le interesa explicar la verdad de todo este asunto, e hay otros que no saben nada de Catalonia.
Creo que Roma ha sido la derrota del deporte y de los derechos totalmente legitimos de una nacion. Pero el mundo lo deberia saber. Tarde o temprano Catalonia tendra sus selecciones y entonces uno de los paises mas antiguos de Europa competira fraternalmente con las demas naciones hermanas.
